LITTLE KICKERS are now running classes at St. Barnabas!
Classes run every Saturday morning for children from the 2nd birthday up to 5 years old. Little Kickers classes are a positive, fun and action packed introduction to soccer. Kids are encouraged to use their imaginations to play games that help them build motor skills, balance, and soccer skills.

MUSICAL MUNCHKINS provides musical activities for children (from birth to 5 years old) and parents/caregivers. Weekly program includes fun songs with musical movement, tickling hand finger and toe play rhymes, age appropriate musical instruments, musical props, notable story books and much more.

SALSA BABIES "Latin beat for tiny feet" - with the little ones snuggled into baby carriers, new moms learn basic steps to popular Latin dances, while babies shake maracas and bounce along to the salsa beat. Salsa Babies offers a great workout, a chance to socialize with other parents, and an opportunity to introduce one's child to music and movement.
Classes are appropriate for babies approximately 6-8 weeks of age and up, as long as you are comfortable supporting your baby in a carrier for the duration of the class. All levels of fitness and dance experience are welcome.

SPORTBALL is a non-competitive sports program for children 16 mos - 8 years old. Children are introduced to 7 popular sports: soccer, hockey, basketball, baseball, volleyball, tennis and golf. Sportball classes are high-energy, fun, and creative.

SWING TORONTO (Odd Socks) First Fridays Mostly Waltz is a new series of Dances in Toronto featuring excellent live bands and great DJ'd music for waltzes and other partner dances. First Fridays Mostly Waltz Dances with live bands (Dance 8pm to 10:30pm) and dance lesson(s) (7pm to 7:50pm) Continues on the first Friday of each month at different venues on the Bloor subway line. Sometimes at St. Barnabas, which has a "big sprung wood dance floor in a charming dance hall."

TORONTO COUNTRY DANCERS

The Toronto Country Dancers is an informal Contra Dance organization run by the dancers who love to dance, socialize, and hear wonderful music. Our music is live, from the Scots-Irish or French Canadian tradition, usually played on fiddle plus banjo, piano, or guitar. In contra, experienced and beginning dancers easily dance together, forming a community of friendly, active people that is welcoming to new dancers of any age.

We dance the 2nd, 4th and 5th Saturdays of the school year, 7:30 – 10:30 pm with a Basics Class at 7:00 p.m. Use the walkway north of the playground to enter the Upper Hall via the glass doors.
